Washington Examiner: Gun salesman-in-chief: 52,600 a day under Obama, more seen under Hillary Gun sales are on a pace to break last year’s record of more than 23 million, a boon to the U.S. industry and gun stores thanks to election-year worries about gun control and recent terror attacks, according to government figures and experts. Under Obama, background checks for guns reached 141.4 million through the end of May, amounting to sales of about 52,600 a day, according to the FBI. Last year, the FBI conducted more than 23 million background checks, which are generally used to figure sales of new and used weapons.

Federal agents believe that Mohamed Maleeh Masha, an American citizen who grew up in the Flushing area of Michigan, is now working as a physician for the Islamic State and tending to wounded jihadists. ‘ According to Detroit News, “The terror investigation is likely focused on determining if Masha is recruiting people in the Flint area and elsewhere to join ISIS, counterterrorism experts said.”

Also shown in the ISIS video is footage of parts of San Francisco, including the Golden Gate Bridge and the California Street tower – the second tallest building in the city – as well as Las Vegas. Martin Luther King Jr., was arrested on an outstanding warrant by Border Patrol officials while he was clearing customs, said Aleksandra Kowalski, a Loudoun County sheriff’s public information officer. Fauntroy was booked at 12:30 p.m. on Monday and posted no bond. He’d just gotten off a long-haul, nonstop flight on Emirates airlines from Dubai to Dulles, said his attorney, Johnny Barnes.

Global Security.org: NATO starts massive war games in Ukraine Member nations of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), including forces from the US, have launched a large-scale military exercise in westerns Ukraine. The war games, dubbed Rapid Trident, kicked off at 9:00 am local time on Monday at the International Peacekeeping and Security Center (IPSC) in Yavoriv in western Ukraine, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry said. At least 2,000 troops from more than 14 NATO member states and their partners in eastern Europe attend the exercises, according to the ministry. The maneuvers will involve military equipment, including armored vehicles, military helicopters and aircraft. The first part of the annual military exercise will come to an end on July 8.

National Review: Isis hackers release new ‘random’ kill list with 4000 names from database previously available online An Islamic State (Isis)-affiliated hacker group called the Caliphate Cyber Army (CCA)has released a new “kill list” on social media, with names, addresses and emails of over 4,000 people from across the globe. While almost half of the names in the list are of Americans, residents of the UK, France, Canada and India have also reportedly made it to the list. The hacker group distributed the list on the encrypted messaging service, Telegram, calling for Isis supporters to target the individuals listed. “O wolves of the Islamic State, [this is a] very important list, kill them immediately,” the hacker group said.
